Upfluence’s software allows brands and agencies to identify and contact millions of social influencers and bloggers at scale to execute comprehensive influencer marketing campaigns, as well as provide detailed reporting metrics. Since the launch of our SaaS software in October 2016, the company has yielded a monthly double-digit growth rate, and we are therefore seeking further expansion for our team and offices. Our rapidly growing global team is currently distributed between our offices in NYC, Los Angeles, Lyon, Mexico City and Paris.
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager with a strong background in digital marketing, agency operations, and team leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow into a strategic leadership role as the team continues to scale. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of people management experience, preferably within an advertising, marketing, or digital/social agency environment.
This role is hands-on. You’ll roll up your sleeves to work alongside your team, guiding campaigns from strategy to execution while maintaining direct communication with clients and prospects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a team of project managers and campaign ops professionals, supporting their growth and ensuring high-quality execution across all campaigns.
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to develop and execute effective influencer marketing strategies and creative concepts.
- Serve as the operational lead in client meetings and presentations, helping communicate value, progress, and performance.
- Oversee influencer coordination, timeline management, content review, and campaign optimization.
- Establish and maintain internal workflows, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration processes.
- Monitor campaign results and analyze performance to ensure KPIs and client expectations are met.
- Deliver thoughtful post-campaign reports and strategic recommendations.
- Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging influencer marketing practice.
- Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect on business proposals, project delivery, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Lead by example: be a resource and a mentor to your team while also diving into the day-to-day when needed.
What we expect from you
- 3–5 years of experience managing teams in a marketing, social media, or digital agency environment
- A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
- Excellent communicator in English (written and verbal), confident in presenting ideas and updates to clients and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Experience with influencer marketing, paid media, and social campaign strategy
- Proficiency with tools like Google Suite and project management software; bonus if familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global company
- A second language is a plus (French or Spanish preferred)
